- Evaluation will be based on a combination of internal assessments and a final end-term examination, with 30% weightage assigned to internal assessments and 70% to the end-term exam. To pass each course, participants must achieve a minimum overall score of 50%.
- The Final Assessment Test (end-term examination) will be conducted in offline mode at designated exam centers.

Yes, the degree is UGC-entitled and widely accepted by government bodies, corporate organizations, and higher education institutions.
Q2) I am a fresher. Am I eligible to apply?
Absolutely. There is no minimum work experience required. As long as you meet the academic eligibility criteria, you are welcome to apply.

Internal assessment includes three components:

Q3) What is a proctored examination, and what are the requirements for appearing in exams?
The Final Assessment Test (FAT) is conducted offline at designated exam centres. Currently, VIT has 20 centres across India, with more to be added.
Q4) Are assignments mandatory?
Yes, assignments are a part of the continuous assessment and are mandatory.
Q5) What is the passing criteria for each course?
Students must score a minimum of 40% in the FAT and achieve at least 50% overall in each course.
Q6) In case I fail in the course, can I reappear for the exams?
Yes, students can reappear for the exam by paying a re-examination fee of ₹1000 per course.
Q7) Is it required to attend live online sessions?
Yes, a minimum of 75% participation in all academic activities is mandatory.
Q8) How many compulsory live sessions are there per course?
Each course includes one live session per week.
Q9) How do I retrieve my course materials?
All learning materials are available through the Learning Management System (LMS).
Q10) Is it necessary to buy textbooks or software?
No. All essential materials are provided through the LMS. Additional books can be purchased independently if desired.
Q11) Is it possible to contact faculty members outside of weekend live classes?
Yes, queries can be submitted via the learning portal, and faculty or academic mentors will respond within 48 hours.
Q12) What is the maximum duration to complete a degree programme?
Students must complete the degree within twice the minimum duration of the programme.
